There are all kinds of things here in the back room. The annex consists of three collections:

Work represented in the first two are conventional photography dating from the 1980s. The 'From the Sea' grouping was made as wall displays for the Harbor Pub in Honolulu. A larger selection, entitled 'Photo-abstracts,' were non-objective photographic pieces done as fine art for gallery and museum exhibition. This second collection was intended as a melding of expressionist painting styles and photography.

All photographic images were made with view cameras using 4" x 5" Kodak color film.  They have been digitized from the original negatives, and are now printable using archival quality ink jet technology.  Prints ranging from 8" x 10" to 24" x 30" and larger are, therefore, possible.

The third category, 'Tangents (a digital grab bag)' is an assortment of earlier digital pieces.

In all cases - photographic images, and digital compositions - images are printed on acid free watercolor paper, using the highst quality pigmented inks. The final print is then sprayed with a water-based protective coating, making possible framing and display as one might do with a painting, without glass.
